Contribution guide
What the project needs, how decisions are made, and how to start.
Right now I am alone, so every role below is open. Nobody is recruited for a title: you say what you can bring, and roles change only by consent.
Roles we need
Open questions (help wanted)
- Cooperative type: production, housing or agricultural development. Founding a cooperative needs at least seven partners (Law No. 1163).
- How to define sweat equity in the articles of association and internal rules; the law has no direct concept for it.
- Land: zoning status, agricultural land restrictions, building permits and accommodation rules.
- Tax, insurance and social security in shared living and shared work.
- Personal data: KVKK notice and how visible member profiles should be.
- Practice with consent-based decisions and conflict resolution.
Ways to contribute
- Time and labour
- Skills
- Knowledge, especially of other communities
- Network
- Limited capital, which never buys decision weight
Sweat equity
Contributions are recorded and visible. They are the basis for ownership later; money is not.
Decisions
Sociocracy and consent. Anyone can object, but an objection needs a reason and a proposal to resolve it.
Code of conduct
No exploitation, no building private hierarchies, no sharing other people's personal data.
Commitment levels
- Observer: follow and comment
- Remote: a few hours a month
- Seasonal: on site for periods
- Full time
Volunteer notebook
Until there are enough people for discussions on this site, volunteers work in a shared notebook: open the notebook.
